STATEMENT OF FAITH

Theological Commitments

The Trinity: God is one, revealed in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: Jesus is fully God and fully human, the unique and complete revelation of God's nature and purpose. There is no other god, and no other name by which we are saved.

Salvation by Grace: Our acceptance before God rests entirely on what Jesus accomplished on the cross and through His resurrection. He died for our sins, rose physically from the dead, and reconciled us to God. We contribute nothing to our salvation; it is received by grace through faith alone.

The Holy Spirit and New Life Regeneration: True transformation in character and lifestyle comes only through ongoing conversion powered by the Spirit and Christ's resurrection life.

Scripture: Following Jesus' own view of Scripture, we hold the Bible to be fully truthful and the supreme authority for faith and practice.

Discipleship: Following Jesus means serving Him as Lord in every area of life, including worship, fellowship, growth, service, and sharing the Good News.

The Return of Christ: We believe in the promised return of Jesus, a hope that gives the Church both strength and purpose today.

Community and Calling: All believers are called to know and love Jesus, grow together, minister to others, and share the gospel with those who have not yet heard it.

The Enemy: A personal devil exists and wields significant power, but only within the limits God allows. He will ultimately be judged and condemned forever.

Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

We believe marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that this covenant relationship is the only appropriate context for sexual intimacy.

Gender: God created humanity as male and female. Both are distinct and together reflect the image and nature of God.

Sexual Intimacy: God designed sexual intimacy for marriage between a man and a woman. Any sexual activity outside of that covenant is outside of God's design.

Sexual Immorality: We believe all forms of sexual immorality, including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and pornography, are sinful.

Abortion: Human beings are intrinsically valuable beings made in the image of God from the moment of fertilization (i.e., coming into existence). To intentionally kill an innocent human being (image bearer of God) is wrong. Abortion does that. Therefore, abortion is wrong.

Redemption: God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and turn from sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
